48,000 daily wage employees to be made permanent in Madhya Pradesh

BHOPAL: In a major decision, the Madhya Pradesh government has decided that all the daily wage employees would be made permanent employees. 

This decision would benefit nearly 48,000 employees in the State. 

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan chaired the cabinet meeting that took the decision. 

In the meeting, the government also approved 6,250 new posts in the Madhya Pradesh police. It was also agreed upon to set up logistics hub at Katni. Besides, some other decisions were also taken in the meeting held on Friday.

Overwhelmed by the decision to make daily wage employees permanent, the daily wage employees and their organizations felicitated Chouhan at Mantralaya premises here today.

Addressing them, Chouhan said that this decision would bring about stability in their life and happiness in their families. He said that the daily wage employees worked hard for years together but their future was uncertain.

Many were removed from their jobs at one point of time while they honestly served the people. He said that on the occasion of Navratri it is the happiest moment that the daily wage employees will now be permanent staff. They will not only get facilities but also stability in life and joys unbound.
