BHOPAL: Senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh has said that party workers should fight BJP-RSS ideology strongly.

Addressing the gathering of Congress workers during party's Satyagraha against firing on farmers, Singh said that Congress workers must not fear and take the BJP head-on.

"If false cases are registered, we will also fight them legally", he said.

Digvijaya Singh said that even some of his own party leaders asked him why he attacks RSS. "I tell them that it is important to fight the Sangh ideology and counter them on the ground".

"Earlier, they spread false rumours. Now they use social media for propaganda. Video fo a woman burnt in Guatemala is passed off as an incident in a region in India and used to spread hate and communalism", he said.

Singh said that Amit Shah claims Congress has no ideology but the truth about Amit Shah is known to everyone. "He has been tadi paar for long, that too on court's directive", said Singh. Shah was asked by court to stay out of Gujarat in the past.

The BJP leaders target Congress over beef but we should be in attacking mode. "It is BJP minister Kiran Rijiju who said that he ate beef. Laws about cow protection were made during Congress regimes. On the contrary, PM Modi said that his friends ran slaughter houses", he said.
