Bhopal residents protest attack on Amarnath Yatra pilgrims, hold candlelight vigil

BHOPAL: Angry over the killing of Amarnath Yatra pilgrims, Bhopal residents expressed staged a protest and paid tributes to the pilgrims who lost their lives in the terror attack.
Citizens took out a candlelight vigil at Iqbal Maidan and paid homage to the victims.
People from different walks of life including concerned citizens, activists, social workers joined the demonstration.
The Centre was urged to take tough action against the terrorists. The protesters said that the Centre must ensure heightened security for the pilgrims in view of this incident.
Those who gathered raised slogans against terrorism and prayed for peace and harmony.
Those who were present included Abid Mohammad Khan, Dr Rajesh Sharma, Syed Abid Hussain, Anil Mahant, Irshad Ali Khan, Savita Bajpai and many others.
"Condemnation is not enough, now it is time for action", said Syed Abid Hussain, while talking to media persons.
Insani Biradiri members had given a call for this demonstration. Apart from this demonstration, NSUI also held a protest near Congress office.
Bajrang Dal also organised a protest against the terror attack in Kashmir and demanded tough retaliatory action.
