Bhopal youth who killed and buried girlfriend, says he murdered parents too

BHOPAL: The youth who had killed and buried his girfriend in his house in Bhopal, has now told police that he had killed his parents too.

The shocking revelation came when police interrogated Udayan Das, 32, after arresting him from his house.

SP Sidharth Bahuguna told media persons thas has said that he had killed his parents a few years ago and now police team will verify this.

The accused told police that he killed them and buried the bodies in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. Now a police team will visit Raipur, said police. "He has changed his statements several times", said police.

The police had grown suspicious as Das had told others that his mother was in USA and later claimed that she was in Delhi. Neighbours hand't seen her for years. 

During interrogation, he said that parents scolded him for his addiction to liquor and drugs. Hence, he killed them. Das had killed his girlfriend Akanksha alias Shweta, 27, and later buried her on the first floor in his house. He had constructed a cement platform to hide the body.
