BHOPAL: The torture inflicted on a Muslim family in police custody--son allegedly forced to perform sexual acts with his mother in police custody, has prompted State government to order inquiry.

Home minister Bhupendra Singh said that it was a sensitive matter and probe has been ordered. Superintendent of police (SP) has been asked to submit report in this regard, within three days.

A middle-aged woman and her family was allegedly tortured. Her son forced to drink her urine and commit sexual act with her. Also, policemen had allegedly forced son to have unnatural sexual act with his father.

The Sehore-based family was kept in illegal detention in Siddiqgnaj police station. The police were probing alleged disapperance of the woman's daughter-in-law as they suspected the latter was killed.

The family members allege that police wanted them to 'confess' the murder, though the daughter-in-law was recovered and found safe at another place later. The victims had earlier complained to top police officials but no action was taken.

Subsequently, they gave an affidavit, which tells the horrible nature of torture the family went through. NewsBits.in had reported the incident though most of newspapers and TV channels in MP, didn't carry the news.
