Bhopal: The festivity and divinity surrounding the ten-day Ganeshotsava would come to an end for this year on Thursday, but some of the images have been captured forever in a very creative way by a Bhopal-based group of photography enthusiasts.

The group of amateurs, who call themselves the Bhopal Photowalk team, went around the city recently, capturing the images of Ganesh Festival in a most unique and creative way – through reflections.

This meant that no direct images would be clicked, rather reflections on various surfaces would be identified or created before capturing them as photographs.

So, making best of their creative ideas, the enthusiastic photographers clicked images of Ganesha as reflection on cell phones, in the side view mirrors of cars and bikes, through spectacle in the 'borrowed' mirrors from people and helmet glass.

Also, camera lens, through the camera filters, electric bulbs, on the windows of car, view pointer of camera, on the metallic strap of the watch and any other interesting reflective surface.

“It was fun to see everyone trying to find some new way of clicking reflection images. We had never thought we would find so many options. You name it and we tried it,” photo enthusiast Anil Gulati, who led the group said while talking to NewsBits.in

It was especially fun to see group of photographers standing on the side of the road at red light crossing before the New Market and trying to click Ganpati idol in the small pieces of mirror fitted in a wall mural opposite the Apex Bank, Gulati said.
