Bhopal: Work conditions are set to get easier for women in Madhya Pradesh government offices with an order set up separate toilets for lady staffers issued by the state general administration department (GAD).

The GAD recently issued the orders in implementation of an important recommendation made by MP Human Rights Commission (MPHRC).

The order copy has been sent out to all the additional chief secretaries, principal secretaries, secretaries, all divisional commissioners and district collectors for implementation with timeframe.

Additional director (public relations) of MPHRC, LR Sisodia said that recently the commission had recommended separate toilets for women at government offices where women staffers were employed. These toilets are to be set up within six months.

Sisodia said that the recommendation was made keeping in mind the dignity of women who had to face tough time due to lack of separate toilets for them at many government offices.
