Saints bless new government, say Shivraj regime betrayed 'Ma Narmada', hence ousted

BHOPAL: A large number of Sadhus, Saints and Godmen attended the swearing-in ceremony of Kamal Nath.

As he took oath in a grand event, Saffron robed Sadhus blessed him and the government. 

They said that an 'anti-religion' (dharm virodhi) government had gone and now a regime that respects the Saints in real sense has come in Madhya Pradesh. 

Speaking on the mike, one of the saints said that it was the Shivraj government's betrayal, especially, regarding 'Ma Narmada' (the holy river), which was the chief cause for his defeat in the election. 

The Godmen said that illegal mining in and around Narmada all these years and false promises about conserving the river and regarding the plantation on its banks, were clearly against the Hindu Samaj. 

Conches were blown and amid chants of 'Har Har Mahadev' that was heard from the pavilion where saints were ensconced, the event was conducted. Kamal Nath took oath of office. In fact, section of saints were upset with Shivraj Chouhan.

One of them, Computer Baba was given minister status but had quit the government before elections. Representatives of other religions too present, now. Qazi-e-Shahar Bhopal, Archbishop Leo Cornelio and Sikh leader Giani Dalip Singh were present.

Meanwhile, top politicians from all over the country attended the ceremony. Chandrababu Naidu, Sharad Yadav arrived in Bhopal for the event. Stalin, Farooq Abdullah, Prafull Patel were also on the stage. Shivraj Chouhan along with Sharad Pawar and veteran BJP leader & former CMs Babulal Gaur, Kailash Joshi were prsent.
