BHOPAL: Alpesh Thakor, the prominent OBC leader from Gujarat, has attacked Shivraj Chouhan, the MP chief minister who also belongs to a backward community, for failure on several fronts.

Thakor, during his visit to Bhopal, said that BJP is ruling Madhya Pradesh for 14 years but there is no development.

"Farmers are in distress. There is no change in status of Dalits, Backwards and Tribals. What has Shivraj Chouhan done for these sections?".

Realising that there is anti-incumbency factor and there is a huge backward caste vote in MP, Thakor plans to expolit the sentiment and take on BJP. He said that in Gujarat, Congress had just fallen short but in MP, BJP will be defeated convincingly.

The leader from Gujarat attacked the Shivraj Singh Chouhan government and stated that, “In MP, BJP is ruling from last 14 years but there is no development visible here. Unemployment is on the rise Madhya Pradesh", he said.

While addressing a press conference here on Monday, Thakor said, the Central and State government of BJP promised a lot of things to public but the promises were not fulfilled by them.

Adding further he said, "I will be addressing a public rally in Satna district of MP which will start our movement against the ruling party of MP. Our movement will be in favour of minorities to get their rights, which they have not got as per the promises done by the BJP".

'It is ironical that though Shivraj is also a backward, he has done nothing for backwards'. Farmers' situation is extremely disturbing. If the figures from last year are seen then you will find that crime graph has also increased in the state. The Gujarat leader said that Congress President Rahul Gandhi is his boss and treats him as his brother.
