BHOPAL: In a blistering attack, chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan termed senior Congress leader Digvijaya SIngh as a person in league of anti-nationals.

Chouhan said that Digvijaya Singh was a man who visited terror sympathisers and addressed them with honorofic (ji).

"Digvijaya Singh is a frustrated person. He is someone who seems to have no link with this country, its society and culture. These are the people who target us though he is the one who would visit the home of a terrorist who gets killed".

Chouhan said that the Congress is now following his Jan Ashirwad Yatra. "They have nothing original and can only follow us", he said, referring to the Jan Jagran Yatra taken out by Congress in Madhya Pradesh.

Earlier, the chief minister said that Digvijaya appears to be a person in the category of anti-nationals. This is a strong attack, coming from Chouhan who is seen as a comparatively soft leader.

Reacting to it, MP Congress chief Kamal Nath said that Chouhan was trying to divert attention from real issues. "He shouldn't teach us nationalism. His party had no leaders who took part in feedom movement".

"Rather than talking about Digvijaya Singh, it is time Chouhan should give an account about his three terms as chief minister and what he did in this long period for the people of the State", Nath further said.
