'Workers not willing to campaign without money, need it for liquor...'
BHOPAL: An audio clip of purported conversation between a candidate and his party president has gone viral in Madhya Pradesh, ahead of Assembly polls.
The candidate allegedly says that the workers don't want to campaign without money, people no longer interested in listening to 'Modi', Rs 5 crore received but it's not enough as liquor has to be distributed in the end.
Interestingly, the conversation suggests that while limit of expense is being violated in a big way. The candidate is contesting from Vidisha in MP. Only once a complaint is made, the clip could be probed and conversation verified, say officials.
