Yet another farmer ends life in Madhya Pradesh
BHOPAL: Just two days after a farmer ended life, yet another farmer committed suicide in Madhya Pradesh.
According to police sources, Prem Narayan Raghuvanshi, 65, a resident of Kalapipal (Shajapur) had consumed poison a few days ago, as he was under depression because of calls to pay back the bank loan. For two consecutive years, the crop had failed and he was under a debt of nearly Rs 5 lakh.
Despite loan waiver, the bank officials reportedly told him that they hadn't got any government order. Hence, Raghuvanshi consumed poison. He was admitted to a hospital in Bhopal, where he died. [December 23, 2018 NewsBits.in]
