Youth beaten to death after objection to DJ playing loud music in UP
LUCKNOW: A youth was beaten to death after a row over DJ playing loud music in Uttar Pradesh.
The incident occurred in Deoria district. On the occasion of Janmashtami, DJ was playing loud music in Patel Nagar, when a local resident, Munnu Lal, objected.
This angered the youths who had called the DJ. Nearly dozen-odd youth attacked him with lathis. The victim was yelling but no one except his family came out for him.
When Munnu Lal's wife and sons came out to save the middle-aged man, they were also attacked. One of them, Sumit, was hit with lathis, mercilessly, and was later rushed to hospital, where he was declared brought dead. After the incident section 144 has been enforced.
