The incident occurred in village Kalwani in Manawar of Dhar late on Thursday evening. The accused minor duo has been arrested by the police. We are withholding their names according to norms.

Police sources said that Lucky (8), son of Vinod Amra, went missing on Thursday evening while playing cricket. Some of Lucky’s friends told police that he was seen going towards jungle with two teenagers (15 and 16 year old) from village.

Interrogation of the young boys revealed that Lucky had seen one of them harassing a minor girl from the village and had threatened to expose him to villagers. When Lucky did not heed to request of this teenager not to do so, he and another of his minor friends lured Lucky into jungle and pushed him into a well, thus killing him.
