BHOPAL: Congress and BJP rival each other in corruption as names of leaders of both the parties figure in Sahara diaries, alleged Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Saturday.

Addressing a press conference in Bhopal, AAP leaders on Saturday that documents in the Income Tax raid revealed names of both BJP and Congress leaders.

"While an entry showed cash payment of Rs 5 crore to CM MP through Neeraj Vashisht, there are also names of Congress leaders incuding the then Delhi CM (Sheila Dixit)", they alleged.

"There is also a hand-written document that had names of former MP CM Digivijaya Singh, former Union minister Kamal Nath and BJP's union minister Ravi Shankar Prasad. The document was found during the raid".

Earlier, Congress leaders approached the Lokayukta to lodge complaint about the Saharadiaries. MP Congress chief Arun Yadav demanded action from the ombudsman and a probe into the alleged payment of Rs 10 crore to MP CM, as mentioned in the documents.

However, Aam Aadmi Party has hit back at Congress and has said that Congress has no issue left and is now parroting the charges that were first made by the AAP leaders.
