BHOPAL: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal lashed out at both the Congress and BJP during his Parivartan Rally in Bhopal, which heralded the party's preparation for 2018 Assembly poll in MP.
Addresshing the gathering, Kejriwal said that Congress and BJP are like husband-wife, who take turns to loot and don't take action against other's corruption.
"There is need for a third party, an alternative in Madhya Pradesh", said Kejriwal. "Rahul Gandhi made so much noise about demonetization but what he did finally?", asked the Delhi chief minister.
Kejriwal seemed happy with the strength in the rally, which was held at Chhola Dussehra Maidan. He made a sharp attack on PM Narendra Modi over demonetisation.
"Demonetisation is Rs 8 lakh crore scam. Government is helping the capitalists, while robbing the common man", he said. "People are facing immense problems, businesses are affected, yet media is praising PM Narendra Modi's move", he said.
Hitting out further at the PM, Kejriwal said that Modi waived off loans (worth Rs 1.14 lakh crores) of his friends. Banks don't send legal notices to those who gobbled up lakhs but common man's loan is not waived off. He said that 'notebandi' has led to a financial emergency in the country.
