Five DPS students among six killed in mishap in Indore, truck hits school bus

INDORE: In a shocking incident, six persons including five children of Delhi Public School (DPS) were killed in a mishap in Indore.

The incident occurred at the bypass road.

A school bus carrying students of DPS, ran into a truck, resulting in the mishap. 

Five children were reported dead in the accident. A driver also died in the mishap. The injured were rushed to the hospital. Top officials including ADG and traffic officials had rushed to the spot. 

It is suspected that the steering failed and this led to the mishap. The injured kids were undergoing treatment at the Bombay Hospital in Indore. The condition of some of the injured children is reported to be serious.

Initial reports suggest that the DPS  bus was driven at a recklessly fast speed. The bus was quite old and its fitness certificate is also under scrunity. However, officials say that it is being ascertained what circumstances led to the accident.
