The ongoing war against Iran has several important lessons for the world. Despite USA's supremacy, it has failed to achieve its objective.

When the war began in February this year, Trump had suggested that US would win it quickly but now after two months, there are still no signs of any victory.

The war is entering its third month. It is apparent that a number of countries across the world are fed up of America's wars, its obsession for regime changes in faraway countries, the hold that Israel has over United States' foreign policy and its ability to drag US to target countries that disrupts the world, causes major global conflicts and affects economy of nations.

The whimsical manner in which tariffs were imposed, the diktats that are issued to countries to fall in line, the misuse of power and forcing other countries to kowtow, expecting everyone to listen to the directive and act as per US, has irked major countries that were either allies or sympathetic to the American empire.

The abduction of Venezuela's president and his wife was no ordinary act. Then, assassinating the elderly supreme leader of Iran along with his family members, followed by targeting of schools and colleges, hospitals and homes in Iran, apart from launching attacks on Lebanon, has been a clear sign that US is not ready to negotiate or use diplomacy.

US has made blunders. Its foreign policy has been erratic and decisions, erratic. Yet, due to its superior military power, the strength of dollar and the economic edge, apart from its resources and technological advancement, kept other countries mum. However, the limits of patience have been tested.

Unprovoked attack and strike to change regime in Iran, has shaken the world. It led to Iran closing the Strait of Hormuz. The shortage of gas and goods, has affected large parts of the world. Israel's image has also suffered. While hapless Palestinians could be targeted, fighting a country like Iran is completely a different scenario.

Netanyahu needs America to fight against Iran. Getting US drawn into conflicts in Middle East, is not going to be easy in future. Israel has also attacked Lebanon and tried to expand the war. However, there is a growing feeling in America that Israel has too much impact on American foreign policy and that it has control over the decisions of the US.

That 'American arrogance' has been shattered in the past, hadn't affected the leaders. One after the other, the super power has tried to force its will on the world. Its strongest allies have been visibly in discomfort as its not support or loyalty, but absolute servility and surrender are expected in this relationship.
