Bhopal: BJP national general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya has targeted Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi and actor Shahrukh Khan at the same stroke, using the upcoming Bollywood big starrers Raees and Kaabil.

Vijayvargiya – known for his controversial comments on social media and otherwise – on Tuesday tweeted second time about Raees (starring Shahrukh Khan) and Kaabil (starring Hrithik Roshan) in four days.

This time he gunned directly for Rahul Gandhi, using the titles of the upcoming movies with title names that verbatim mean ‘affluent’ (Raees) and ‘competent’ (Kaabil) respectively.

In his tweet, Vijarvargiya, who hails from Indore in Madhya Pradesh, used an image showing Prime Minister Narendra Modhi and Congress VP Rahul Gandhi and a slogan that said ‘Kaabil ho to ek chaywala bhi pradhanmantri ban jaata hai, warna chaandi ka chammach munh mei lekar paida hua Raees bhi phatey kurtey pehanta hai’ (If competent, a tea-seller can become a prime minister, yet even affluent person born with a silver spoon in mouth is forced to wear torn clothes).

Kailash targeted SRK starrer Raees (and indirectly Rahul Gandhi) first time on January 21 also on Twitter, pitting it against Hrithik’s Kaabil. This tweet said ‘Jo #Raees desh ka nahi, woh kisi kaam ka nahi; aur ek #Kaabil deshbhakt ka saath toh humein dena hi chahiye’ (An affluent person who does not belong to country is of no use and we should certainly support a competent patriot).

This tweet also carried an image of Indian flag with a slogan ‘Ab baari desh ki Kaabil Janta ki hai, jo Kaabil hai uska haq koii beimaan Raees na chhin paaye’ (Now it is the turn of the competent people, the right of a competent person should not be taken away by any dishonest affluent person).

Vijayvargiya is known to make scathing comments on several current topics, often targeting non-BJP politicians and even celebrities of a particular community.

Eqautes SRK to Dawood?

Vijayvargiya also made a comment on Tuesday, seeking to equate Shahrukh Khan to gangster Dawood Ibrahim in context of the incident where a fan of SRK was killed in a stampede. Vijayvargiya while speaking to some television reporters, said that huge crowds gather even if Dawood came out on street, in obvious reference to the crowds that SRK draws.
