Madhya Pradesh: Raj Bhavan to be opened for citizens, schoolchildren from November 1

BHOPAL: Raj Bhavan will no longer be out of bounds for the common citizens.
It will be opened to people on two days, every week, from November 1.
On the occasion of Madhya Pradesh Foundation Day, MP Governor Anandiben Patel has given these instructions.
She has asked that the Raj Bhavan should be opened for common man from 4.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m. on every Tuesday and Thursday from November 01, 2018, according to an official communique.
The Governor has also given permission for entry of school students in Raj Bhavan everyday from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. from November 01. School management and teachers are required to intimate Raj Bhavan about the number of students and time in advance.
Ever since, she became Governor, Anandiben Patel has taken steps to open the doors of the Raj Bhavan to general public. Now, people would be able to visit the historic building, which was earlier known as Lal Kothi in the era when Bhopal was a princely state.
