Six civic body employees sacked, five suspended for felicitating BJP candidate in MP

AGAR: As many as 11 employees of the civic body have faced action--six of them sacked and five suspended, for felicitating the BJP candidate in Agar district of Madhya Pradesh.

The action has been taken for violation of the model code of conduct. After the complaint was made, it was verified and found to be true. 

The incident had occurred at a local dharmshala on April 10. Eleven employees of the municipal body not only welcomed the BJP candidate but also shared the dais with him and were present along with others joining the BJP.

After the event, a complaint was made in this regard. The photographs and the video footage of the event, showed that the 11 persons were indeed actively participating in the BJP candidate's programme. 

They were identified as Manoj Kumar, Sarwan Kumar, Rajkumar Avinash Kumar, Sandeep, Chandan, Pooja, Shubham, Abhishek, Rahul and Dharmendra. Six of them sacked who were on muster-roll have been sacked while, five others have been suspended.
