Apart form him, Railway SP Anita Malviya has also been transferred to attached to PHQ.

Choudhary is being replaced by Jaideep Prasad, who has served as SP Bhopal in the past. Choudhary is the same officer who was at the helm in Bhopal when the jailbreak-cum-encounter took place.

He has been posted as IG Law and Order in PHQ. Anita Malviya's photograph, laughing when asked about the incident, was the main reason, she was shifted. After the gang rape, three TIs and two ASIs other than a CSP had faced action.

The 19-year-old girl was returning from coaching institute on October 31 night when she was gang raped. Four youths had raped her for over three hours. Later, they abandoned her near the railway track.
