NewsBits.in is an online English news multimedia platform that provides news with a special focus on Central India viz. Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Vidarbha.
Madhya Pradesh is home to 80 million people. We cover CG and Vidarbha too. Together, this region has a population of nearly 15 crore or 150 million (2016 estimate). There was no dedicated online English news service from the region.
Central India remains a neglected region as far as news coverage is concerned. Apart from high-impact stories, reports from ground and breaking news, NewsBits.in takes stories from Madhya Pradesh, primarily a Hindi-speaking state, Chhattisgarh, the tribal dominated state & Vidarbha, to national level.
