RAIPUR: The High Court has ordered the bodies of Bhima and Sukhmati to be exhumed so that a fresh post-mortem could be conducted.
Both were allegedly killed in a staged encounter by the local police in Bastar.

But they didn't return. The police had claimed that they were Maoists and killed them in encounter. The incident had occurred on January 27, 2017.
Two days later, the bodies were handed over to the family members. Subsequently, Sukhmati and Bhima's kin approached the High Court.
The Bilaspur high court had sent a notice to the government. Justice Gautam Bhaduri has now ordered that the bodies be exhumed and fresh post-mortem conducted.
As per SC guidelines the entire process has to be video-graphed and a report has to be submitted within a week. The Chhattisgarh high court would now hear the case four weeks later.
