'Humiliated' after cake fell on floor in classroom, schoolboy kills self on railway track

BHOPAL: A schoolboy committed suicide by throwing hiself on the railway track. 

The boy had allegedly been humiliated and scolded after a cake fell on the floor in the school. 

Abhishek Yadav, a student of XII at Government School Babai (Hoshangabad), had celebrated birthday in the class room with friends. 

However, part of the cake fell on the floor. The teachers allegedly scolded him, made him clean the cake. He was asked to bring his father to the school. Abhishek reportedly felt humiliated and was tense after the incident. 

In all, 11 students who celebrated the birthday were given notice. After the incident, Abhishek went missing. Later, his body was found on the railway track. Upset, students staged a demonstration.

The family members of the boy have demanded action in this regard. Rally was taken out and memorandum was given to the district administration.
