MP: 10 injured in blast in Bhopal-Ujjain passenger, home minister orders probe

BHOPAL: Ten persons were injurd in an explosion in the Bhopal-Ujjain passenger train on Tuesday.
The incident occurred when the train was passing near Kala Pipal in Shajapur district.
Sources said that the blast took place in a suitcase. Such was the explosion that it created a hole in the compartment. The police don't rule out possiblity of sabotage.
Just a few months ago, Indore-Patna Express was derailed in Kanpur. In that incident, police had later arrested Moti Paswan and his accomplices from Bihar and Nepal. Later, arrests were made from Nepal too.
Home Minister Bhupendra Singh said that senior police officials are leaving for the site and a high-level inquiry would be conducted. The injured are being shifted to local hospitals, said railway officials.
District colletor, SP and other officials have reached the spot. The train had left Bhopal in the morning. The blast took place at around 10 pm. Police officials said that the forensic examination would reveal the kind of explosive that caused the blast.
Railways have sent a team of doctors along with a medical relief train. PRO JK Jain said that the focus was on providing relief and treatment to the injured right now. "All the injured have been admitted to the hospitals", he said.
