SRINAGAR: Three personnel of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) were killed by one of their colleagues at a CRPF camp.
This incident occurred at Udhampur in Jammu & Kashmir. Police said that Ajit Kumar, a CRPF jawan, had a tiff with some of his colleagues. Kumar lost his cool and fired at them.
The trio--R Pokarmal, Yogendra Sharma and Umed Singh, got fatal injuries and died. The victims hailed from Raajasthan, Delhi and Haryana respectively.
After the incident, Kumar also shot himself. He is injured and is being treatment in the military hospital. A probe is on to ascertain the circumstances that led to the killings. [March 21, 2019 NewsBits.in]
