HOSHANGABAD: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat has expressed his anguish about ISIS' spree of killings and terror in Middle East.

Bhagwat talked about ISIS during his visit to Madhya Pradesh on Thursday.

Speaking at a programme in Bankhedi in Hoshangabad, he said that the killings are extremely worrying. He said that it was unfortunate that the world had no clue how to deal with ISIS and stop the outfit from its extremist activities.

Bhagwat heads RSS which has lakhs of volunteers in the country. The ruling BJP is a political face of the Sangh. It is noteworthy that Sangh has been banned in the past. Soon after Gandhi's assassination, the Congress government had banned it.

Union home minister Sardar Patel had ordered the ban. It was in 1992-93 when Sangh was banned last time in the wake of Babri mosque demolition. Several RSS functionaries have been arrested in the past for crimes and have faced terror cases also.
